I am planning to put a fiberglass 6-pac hood on my 1972 Plymouth Duster. Does anyone have suggestions as to where to buy the best quality item??
Anyone running their bolt on hoods? Where do you find lighter springs and how much of a b**** are they to install ?? Looks like the trunk decks use the stock hinges?
Hands down best quality has got to be AAR.....
Don't want to interupt; Demon Seed- That's a beautiful paint job.
No ****!! Demon, I would dearly love to do my Duster all black but my body working skills won't allow it. :angry7:
AAR makes the highest quality fiberglass parts in both fit and finish, but they are not cheap and don't freak on the shipping costs.
Thanks guys, we have checked out the hoods and have decided to go with the AAR hood - - will let you know the result and any problems encountered.
We have a 71 Duster 340 that we are leaving stock, but have decided to "jazz-up" the 72 so that when we attend car shows they are not in the same class - - the wife's car (the 71) is a huge head turner! Now, I have to work like the devil getting my car up to the same standard!!
