I am fighting a reoccurring exhaust leak between the bottom of my manifold and the flange on the Downpipe. I have tried remflex gaskets and have come to the conclusion that the flange is not flat how do I remove the flange from the pipe without cutting it?

Magic? You don't. The pipe must be cut OR taken apart somewhere so the flange can slide off.

Is it a flat welded flange with a gasket. Or is it a ball type. Either is an easy fix with the proper tools

Never seen the ball type on a /6 before.
Going by the fact that the question is in the /6 forum, and the screen name I think it's safe to "assume" that that's what he's working on.... Hahaha
