how did you guys fill things like the Ac hose hole and the AC blower hole. I want to fill those and all the little pin holes I dont need before I paint, but after I strip it and rather use a welder than fill the holes with bondo and My last resort to fill the big holes is fiber glass but that takes to long and gets messy.

Make plugs from sheet metal that attaches to the firewall from the inside. Use body adhesive to attach them. This will allow you to reopen them if you choose.
Just an idea.

On any of the small pin holes, you can hold a piece of brass on the back side and hit it with a welder. The brass will help keep the hole from blowing bigger. Grind it flush and prime it.

Here are some pictures of what I did. I welded a plate on the back of the firewall and cut a hole plug for the front of the firewall. I kept the heater hose holes open and put some grommets in them for wiring pass throughs in the future. Hope this helps.
