Need to replace the transmission filter on my 727 with a transbrake. The filter is bent to clear the transbrake solenoid. Its that a stock filter that is modified? All the filters I can find are straight.

Post a picture of your old filter.
If it's a fiber filter, it's possibly the stock style with just metal around the outside.
If it's a fine mesh screen, it's an aftermarket, and it's reusable. Just clean it.

Thanks bibzilla. I took it off and it has a number 3612 SPX. NAPA no/how crosses it to a fuel water separator. So looking up a 727 trans filter and looks right. Look like the filter is just bent to clear the solenoid

Most guys running transbrake VB's are also running deep pans and have a filter extension that lowers the filter and that will also let it clear the solenoid
