I have been trying to work on my Dart for some time, I hate being cold.
I replaced all balljoints, upper and lower control arm bushings, strut rod bushings, idler and pitman arms. Had the steering box rebuilt by firm feel.
I also replaced the bump stops

Could someone tell me what the numbers on the engine block mean?
Also there were numbers on the torsion bard UVX 893 what does that mean

Next I want to rewire the car. There are splices all over the place

thank you

Shelton, CT, huh?
I emailed a guy on craigslist about a '90 360 engine in Shelton, CT...

Looks like you got a lot done on that beauty!
It sure was a nice weekend here in New England, tis too bad I didn't get any time to work on my Dart... didn't even get to take it out for the ride I had wanted.

I think the "89" part of the number is the diamerer of the bar. 0.89 inches. It matches a torsion bar guide i have that also fits if the engine casting number is correct. I'm guessing its a 440 cid engine. If so my guide shows that torsion bar correct for that engine.
