Feels great to have a big block in one piece again; 383, Comp Cams 268XE, Torker, gasket matched heads w/ dual springs, basically stock. 9 years in the making. Now to finish up the rest of the car!

Looking good. I'd get a Performer RPM and paint it to match.

I've always been told never to paint alum intakes or heads.
They won't do there job as well as to the dissipation of heat.

I cant see it hurting anything to much. I've painted intakes before. Never would paint a set of heads though.

I'm gonna use my Torker cause it was on the motor when I got the car and it ran like a violated ape! I figure why change now? If I think its a little doggy, (I doubt it!) I can put the stock manifold that I have on. Thanks everybody. :thumrigh:
