I got the primer on the underside, interior and engine bay. I plan on putting the red on tonight or tomorrow.

It is good to be in the stage of starting to put things back together.

The job I'm really proud of is the upper inner fender in the engine bay pic. I rebuilt that with 5 pieces of sheet metal. Welded it from the underside and then ground it down. A little bondo and it fits like a glove.

And then about 60 miles North is a 71 Dart that needs some work.
Looks real good. Can't wait to see the finished product.

No, it's called Bare Metal Primer. It looks thick because I put two coats on. The stuff is hell to work with. It goes on nice but clean-up is real nasty. Deadly poison to. I got a couple of breaths of it during clean-up, it near knocked me off my feet. Needless to say, when you use this stuff, it is full face respirator time and a paint suit.
