I have a 1974 Plymouth Duster, 360 magnum engine, ported EQ cylinder heads with 2.02 intake valves, mild hydraulic roller cam shaft with Edelbrock rpm airgap intake, Holley HP 750 vs carburetor, MSD ignition system, aluminum radiator, 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, headers, and a built 727 trans with a 9.5” 3600 stall built by Dice Performance Converters, B&M SFI flex plate, B&M pro ratchet shifter, line lock, Calvert Caltrac traction Bars and split mono rear leaf springs and Calvert 9 way adjustable rear shocks and Yukon racing axles, a 489 3rd member housing, 8 3/4 sure grip rear end with 3:91 gears in it. 275/60 15 Mickey Thompson drag radials rear tires. I just installed a 100 shot Nitrous Express system. It’s a street/strip/ bracket car.

Some of you guys asked me to post how the car ran. I went to Irwindale raceway, after installing 100 shot of nitrous on the car. I picked up a almost .60 of a second in the 8th mile and ran 7.51, 7.51, 7.47 and last pass 7.45 ET 90-92 mph and 1.67, 1.63, 1.61 60’.

Now I have to start putting my money together, so that I can build a magnum 408 with Steel crank forged pistons with higher compression, good rods and new roller cam.

Damn I need nitrous!
From 8.0s in the 1/8th equal to 12.60s at 104 mph 1/4th to 7.45 in the 1/8th equals 11.60s 114 mph in the 1/4th, On a 100 shot. The engine temp stayed 190, plug’s looked good and oil pressure was good and no pinging or detonation,With pumped gas. Then I drove it home on the freeway. I think it’s worth it.
