So this past weekend was long over due! We finally got the charger on the road!
We got the shell of this car back in the fall of 2001 from a family friend. Over the years the old man collected parts here and there and slowly started getting the car back together. This is the very vehicle that brought me into the mopar world, so needless to say it is a little special. About a year and a half ago my Dad got some bad news regarding his health and he got down in the dumps about the whole situation. He was even of the impression that he would never get to see this car on the road. So since then the family has pulled together to get the remaining parts for the build and over the past year I have been trying to get everything on the car to make it "street-able". Still needs some work and some bugs worked out of it, but this past weekend was the first time this "body" has been on the road since the late 80's!
