i like the micro flake in it but my 72 EV2 has no flake, still factory paint.

Well the mixture that the paint guy put together using that original paint code most definitely had fine metal in it. That is fine with me; it just surprised me because I did not know. It will definitely be eye-popping in the sunlight. And a black vinyl stripe is going on the back and a trunk trim panel across the rear.

The V2 orange has very fine metallic. Its pearl today. It is very hard to see. If you would wax or polish a spot then use a flash light on that spot you should see some fine metallic.
