Ok slow to finally get pictures on here of my 71 twister. Bought 2 years ago last week. It’s an original 318 3 speed (?) car. Now has a 69 year 340 4 speed with 3.55 gears in it. It’s a fun little car. The motor has been gone through and pumped up a little. The previous owner would run it at an 1/8 mile track in his hometown in Iowa. It ran consistent very low 8’s there. I have talked to the last 3 owners. The 3rd owner back bought it from the original family. It was still in its original paint etc. He repainted it in ‘89 in the same color and stripes. I have done some upgrades since I bought it.

A few pictures of the engine bay re-do and disc brake conversion. Engine got a regasket and a few new items as long as it’s out! A simple oil leak turned into a little more than just that! Lol.

Hey Brian! Thank you, that pic is down in Farmington. I love your duster, its such a cool color and so awesome its still the orig paint on yours. Look forward to seeing it in person soon!

I was thinking that pic was here in Farmington. I grew up here so ive seen it a few times. lol. yeah we need to get together soon.
Oh that's cool! My dad was an air traffic controller there when I was a kid back in the early to mid 70's. We lived in Sunnyside circle. Every now and then I 'll drive past our old house. Let me know whens a good time to get together! I am free most nights after 5!

I had a duster ( dragcar) same color. Wish I still had it. Or yours!
I bet you do! They are fun cars and getting somewhat hard to find anymore that are clean. I have had this one for a couple years now. Have lots over the years though and this one is a keeper so far!

340mike,
Like the way you took your 340 engine / engine bay back to the "Stock Look" !

Nicely prepped, primed, and complete paint all Orange, such a great engine detailing and engine bay.
Ma Mopar would be proud . . . Even the Stock Mopar Radiator, awesome look.
