Finally the floor heater is live.

One year later,I finally managed to save up and get the rest of the system and get it installed.
I am not a plumber, but I think it turned out okay.
I can not wait till the floor heats up.

I love it! I basically have the same thing. I have 3 zones. One for the shop, one for the garage, & one for the upstairs. It takes about 24 hrs. to raise the temp about 10 degrees. Don't lay on the floor, it will put you sleep!

There are three zones in the garage, but I run them all the same.

I have 3 separate stats. Right now, we are currently on vacation. I have all 3 zones set as low as possible. 41 *. When I'm working in the shop, I usually set it at about 65*. That's comfortable. The garage section & the upstairs are set around 50* or so. That melts the snow off of the cars & dries the floor by morning.

I've had my system approx 25 years. Love it!

I will have in floor as well when I build a new shop/garage. I lived in Switzerland for a while and they were big users of in floor heating at home and industrial applications. I became a fan but haven’t had a chance to act.
