So getting ready to do the front clip(inner fenders, core support, firewall)

Do I need to brace up the cowl before I remove it? The glass is still in and I don't need it to break. Thought about bracing it but the cowl looks pretty load bearing to me....

you could brace the cowl panel to be on the safe side. As long as the A pillar primary structure is not tampered with, your okay.

Cutting the whole front of the car off and you dont want to take out the windshield?

I think the cowl will be ok, I would throw in a couple of braces though to be on the safe side

Thanks for the input guys

Cant afford new windshield gasket, and mine wont survive getting pulled, so the glass has to stay.

Update, it is possible, ended up not having gas to go pick up some rebar so decided to risk it.
