yeah, it's an ex-cop car.

yeah, it's got a HEMI. And yeah, it goes like stink!
My son drove it 100 miles, back from where we bought it , and at first it was funny how no one wanted to pass him, but then it just became annoying because you couldn't change lanes because there were cars just hanging in your blind spot.

my wife's winter beater is an 08 charger (AWD)
it is dark blue, and even though it was never a PD car, it has that road presence

Seen lots of those on I-205 and I-5. Does it have the plastic back seat and column shifter?

no. it has the regular upholstered rear seat, thank gawd. Those plastic back seats are just awful.
Yes, it has the column shift. It has the auto stick feature built into it, which is rather bizarre. So far, it feels pretty janky. I don't know why, maybe it's the odd angle of the handle, the gates, I don't know yet.
It also has another separate stalk for the cruise control, which I haven't tried, yet. It looks rather unintuitive.
