first time doing an exhaust on a /6

so i am saving up to get my exhaust done nothing fancy just want a mellow tone and not to sound "ricey" i was thinking a 2" system with a cherry bomb glass pack used as a resonator and a cherry bomb turbo style muffler a little farter down the pipe do any of you guys have something simaliar or an opinion on how it will sound?? thank you.
 
my personal preference is (walker dyno max ultra flow) sounds good basically a straight thru muffler but you don't get the resonance noise in the car that you would with a flow master the first time i heard one of these was on a straight 6 jeep that had a hedder on it the thing sounded like a v8 at idle
 
has anyone ever used the bendable pipe from pepboys ???
 
I have used the flex pipe a Pep Boys, its junk, don't waste your money. Just my .02
 
Agree with the Dynomax, but I went with 2-1/4" for better breathing. Sounds great.
 
I split my exhaust under driver area and ran duals with dynomax mufflers and factory a body tips and at idle it sound like v8 and when you get on it it does sound good but you know it is a 6
