Fitment of (E-body 727) into an A-body

Dumb question but.....

I'm looking at buying a new 727 for my small block 340 Dart
Found a 1970 transmission out of an E-body-1970 cuda....

Is there any issues getting this into an A-body?

I've heard that there is a problem if its not also a console shift, like mine?

Should bolt right in with no problems. There were differences with the 4 speeds, but not the automatics. I know that a column shift C body 727 is a straight swap for a floor shift F body 904 and all that had to be changed was the front yoke and a bit of driveshaft shortening (done that one).
