Just did another quick project. As many of you know, the chrome stripe trim on the door panels is usually worn off. Pepboys had 1/4" chrome striping tape that's usually used outside of the car.
I used it to re-do the interior panel trim. The original chrome stripes on mine were slightly wider than 1/4", but it still worked out good and isn't really noticeable.
I cleaned the gray strip with alcohol before applying the tape. The new chrome striping tape is a little thicker than what they used originally so it is a little tricky to get it to conform to the shape and raised middle part. Just pressed it on really good and am hoping it stays.
