As the title says, we're looking for some flat top pistons to put into our budget backyard 5.9 build.

Let me know what you have please.

Does it matter? Not being a smart ***, just trying to learn...lol. Both are same 4" bore and 3.58 stroke.
width of the rod is different (LA is thicker), compression height is slightly different (i wanna say mag is taller), mag pistons are considerably lighter (piston, pin & ring pack).

and you'll need a rebalance.

Why is it backyard budget builds turn into nothing resembling a budget build? LOL..

Found a set of used Wiseco stroker pistons for a decent deal and trying really hard not to crawl down that rabbit hole.

In all honesty I'd just like to find a of std bore flat tops someone upgraded from. I the pickings are too slim, I see some KB107's or SP H116CP's. I just need to keep the voices in my head quiet... :)

Now, if someone has a stroker crank taking up too much shop space... LOL. (<-- voices in my head)

Cast strokers aren't too bad a price, if the pistons/rods are a bargain, then......
Would need a balance job.

And scat cast cranks are much preferred to eagle.

I don't know that much about interchangeability, that's why I said I had pistons for an LA motor.

And very much appreciated. I am "trying" to stay with a standard bore to start. If I can't find anything to do that, the next options are new pistons or bore the cylinders.

I heard lots of good things about scat cranks so if it comes to that, then that's the direction I'll go. For now I'm "trying" to keep it simple.
