Flex plate to crank bolts too long?

So I ordered up my ARP flex plate to crank bolts #240-2801. The bolts will not seat all the down, seems they are 1/4" too long. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

that sucks... the application is for chrysler all...can anyone give this guy some input or recommendations?

Call ARP. The bolts were probably miss packaged.

my arps were longer than the stock ones also, went with the stockers and loctite

I've thought about doing that as well. Are they available from the dealership?

Sounds like you may have standard flywheel bolts? I have a bunch of old flexplate bolts if you need them.
