71 Demon 340 front drum brakes. Purchased new brake lines and wheel cylinders. The front flexible brake lines have two female ends, the wheel cylinder is female. Classic says I have the correct parts but clearly something is incorrect. What am I missing here. Any help would be appreciated, pic of brake line to wheel cylinder, part #'s, etc ?

It should have a male on one end and female on the other...

They must have confused the front and rear hoses...

Try:

Dorman H73278
Raybestos BH36650
Sunsong 220917
Wagner BH73278

They should look like this:

Rock auto has them, but check the picture to make sure it's correct...

My 72 with 9" drums hose has two female ends, and out of back of wheel cylinder is a 4" long "C" shaped hard line with male end that screws into hose. Maybe yours is that stile missing the hard line. -Jed.

sounds like he is missing the hard line that attaches to the wheel cylinders the fist picture is the ones for 9 inch drums, the second picture is for 10 inch drums

Zombywoof, I have the 10" drums, looks like you are saying I can keep the lines that I have and purchase the hard line adapter. Do you have a supplier?

yes the lines you have are correct for drum brakes. mine were 9 inch drums. i bought mine from THE RIGHT STUFF GET DISC BRAKES . i am sure there are other vendors out there. you should down load the fsm that should help you as well.
