I am putting a procharger on my 318 and I want to know if i should up grade my flexplate. but if i do i have no idea which one to get. Any suggestions??

Thanks

B&M sell a SFI rated race flex plate which would be best, others have them as well and check out jegs and summit racing for more details. Also upgrade to larger convertor bolts too,and have the convertor drilled and tapped to fit them.As a example: drove a freinds hemi dart and we started to hear this weird noise and all of a sudden no more tranny due to the fact he was still using the stock convertor bolts, and had sheard off all the bolts and broke the stock flex plate, not good, mrmopartech

If you check out arp or mancinnis or jegs and summit, they have the kits.I would run the 3/8FT convertor bolts. You can also check out the NHRA rule book to be sure of the requirements needed to run a automatic car too.Mrmopartech

most aftermarket convertor will use a 1/2 sae thread, i have never seen a problem with this size. check turbo action for flex plates, bolts, convertors

I have a MP SFI rated flex plate. Like stated most aftermarket high stall converters use arger bolts.
