Rainbow is a quality brand, they cost more, but I haven't had to replace the pair I have, I can't even remember when I got them, 15 years ago at least.

^^^haha I wasnt suggesting anything like those. Rainbow Inc. is a brand name. Started in 1974 with surfers in mind as a sandal that doesn't wear out.
I had to jump in here and say I will never wear them ever again, well I do have a couple pairs that I use in showers as I go camping, but these things will break your neck, fall hazard, I would go bare foot first, but I am from Arkansas so

Merrill makes good ones. Believe it or not, most comfortable pair I ever had were old navy.
Had a foot injury as a kid,the paranoia of a large jagged piece of glass in my foot still haunts me today, guessing almost 50 years later.

no one finds this a little bit unsanitary? I mean I change my socks sometimes twice a day just because I value my foot health.
a hahahahahahaha here??? Wife's birthday. Her 26 yr old son sends his newish bride to store for sandles for "mother", as that is ALWAYS the gift. His wife is a high paid RN mind you, and goes to WallyWorld and buys the cheapest sorryist pair of flipflops, which immediately rub a hole in my wife's feet!!!! ha

I got tangled up with broken glass at Mission Bay San Diego. At least I think it was broken glass, never did see it, it was under water. Opened up the top of my foot from toes to ankle. Mother hauls my wet bleeding foot to Scripp's Hospital. Scripp's is a very well known establishment in that part of the world, top notch place. I get to the exam table in the ER, my doctor walks in and the very first thing I notice is the doctor is wearing Flip Flops
. OMG I'm gonna die from a cut foot! 6 or 7 butterfly bandages and a "Keep it dry for a week" so much for that summer vacation at the beach

I usually wear my flip-flops into the sea water at the beach. My step-brat's boyfriend went out wading barefoot and stepped on a sea urchin-26 spines pulled at the emergency room. Jacques Cousteau referred to the Sea of Cortez as "aquarium of the world."

Dudes don't wear flip flops or sandals... Nobody wants to see nasty naggly hairy yellow toe nail feet. It's gross. Socks and shoes.

When summer low temps hover around 80 degrees (like this year) open footwear is the only way to survive.
i spent most of high school walking around barefoot, usually because i forgot to bring shoes... good flops are an upgrade

I live in Southern California for a couple years in Junior High and I think I lived in a pair of black and white checkered vans. Went to visit my dad in January and it's just the same but 35 years dirtier LOL and for some reason everybody put up Fortress walls around their yards in my old neighborhood. instead of going down the street with beautiful green Lawns on both sides there are concrete and bar walls right up to the sidewalk all the way down the street?
