I’m almost done installing the parts on my 69 Dart GT for the front disc brake swap. This is the kit that uses 73+ parts and the single piston floating calipers. However, I am stuck because I am not completely clear how these calipers go together. The instructions recommend bending the tabs to stop rattling on the outboard pads. The kit comes with a rubber band essentially to install for anti-rattling for the inboard pad. However I am not sure how that rubber band is installed on the caliper. The instructions say “The rubber band wraps around the inboard pad (pad against the piston) and then goes around the “T” shaped tab” on the caliper mounting brackets. But there are no pictures that really show clearly what this looks like. Does anyone have any pics that show how this rubber band is installed? This is the last thing I need to do before getting the wheels back on (obviously). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nobody uses them.
They are useless.
Throw them away.
Don't loose any sleep over it.
