Floor shift steering column

I have a floor column which has the lever to push down on, my question is don't know what makes it work. Found a description saying that it needs rubber block and spring, I have the block but where does the spring go and who is selling them. Any pictures or information will be appreciated.

The spring is installed on the tube and the depressed lever when it is installed on the main tube. Where you get one I don’t know.
