I'm sitting in the Hilton, on the Cape Fear River....straight across from the USS North Carolina. We're here to get the power back on after the Himmacain goes thru. I'm gonna park my truck in a different spot tomorrow....so I don't have to wade to on Sunday!

I thought hurricane Michael was going to hit the coast somewhere south of Vero Beach and then come West. I'm glad it stayed East and stayed offshore never let made landfall in Florida. I am 60 miles Due West Inland from Vero Beach. We just had some wind and rain and nothing else, so no damage. I am glad.
