Alright, I've got a A833, bell housing, fly wheel, clutch and pressure plate located, out of a 65 Dart. I'm wanting to put it in my 65 Barracuda, 273, three speed, converted from the column to the floor. I know that I absolutely need the bell housing.
Question: Is my fly wheel, clutch and pressure plate compatible with the A833? The clutch and pressure plate are not a big concern. (as I want to replace them new.) However if my fly wheel will work it would save me a ton of shipping charges.

I think that the spacing of the bolts holding the flywheel to the crank is different from slant (evenly spaced) to V8 (one bolt hole off a bit) If that is incorrect, someone will no doubt chime in.

EDIT: if the flywheel out of the Dart is from a V8, then it should be compatible with an 833. It might be the 122 tooth and take the 9.5 in clutch as well.

I don't know the answer to your question, but if it turns out you need somebody to take the flywheel to make your deal work, I'm in the market for a flywheel for a 65 273.

130 tooth ring gear flywheel and a 10-1/2" 23 spline disc? If so, I think your good.
Check the release bearing fit on the trans and the bearing retainer diameter against the bell you are going to use.

Let me be a little more specific about my question. I have in my possession "now" a 273 with a fly wheel, clutch, pressure plate and three speed transmission. (65 barracuda) I'm in the process of buying a A833, bell housing, fly wheel and clutch assembly off of another 273 in a Dart. If I choose not to buy the fly wheel and clutch...Will the fly wheel I have now work with the A833?
In the other words...is a 273 3speed fly wheel the same as a 273 4 speed fly wheel?
