Fly Wheel Question

Is it possible to use a 143 tooth fly wheel for an 11"clutch on a small block? And if so, in a Lake Wood small block bell housing? Thanks

Whats the 143 tooth flywheel off of? Probably no help but I believe all smallblocks got the 10.5 disc and the 360s and all bigblocks got the 11" ?.. If everythings out you could easily mock it up quick, and test the starter config.

I was just wondering that if I got a 143 tooth fly wheel would it work. I do have a 130 tooth fly wheel.

Your lakewood bell will only exept a 130 tooth flywheel for a small block. As far as I know the 143 tooth for sm. blocks only came on trucks and that bell will not exept an 833 4spd.

Just remember that that big flywheel takes up a huge amount of space. Look for header compatibility with your combo, the real problem being where the starter ends up at.
