Speaking of flying things,was in L.A. today. 10 frwy off on Crenshaw. other side of crenshaw,next to the offramp,what looks like a downed light helicopter. With some guy messing with it. And what looks like the main rotor(with most of the blades missing) spinning around and around. And nobody seems to notice. Just one of the locals! Asked the man"you gonna take off from here?" "Yessir! Real soon!"he says and starts dancing! Now lets see if I can post these pics....

Think he lost the engine when he auto rotated down. Must have been a ford. Note the grill in his hand.

Here you go! This is actually a gyrocopter similar to the one that I own. Mine has to be rebuilt before I can go flying though.

I just learned of a brotha` in LA that could probably hook you up! Probably work for a couple squares, and pup tent in yer back yard. Might have to throw in a bottle of mad dog a day.
May have a Ford grill stuck to the front of it but hey, cheap labor? minus the bus fare.
