I am trying to get the parts together for an engine test stand and need a flywheel and bellhousing. The first engine I want to run is a 318 (1979).
What size flywheel and bellhousing do I need and are they paired up? I understand that it is different than the 360 for reasons of internal vs. external balance.

This is just enable me to mount and use the starter.

Will this flywheel work on it?

Also, I might be able to pick up (used) what is being described as a 15" bellhousing, possibly from a truck or van. Will this work?

Please excuse the dumb questions - never dealt with manual transmission stuff and don't really understand the dimensions and how they work!

Thanks!

Your flywheel you reference is for a later model magnum and won't work as far as I know. Not sure what a 15 inch bellhousing means. Most mopar flywheels are 10.5 inches with some being 11 inch flywheels. I bought a flywheel from 440source.com that works on externally balanced engines with small weights attached and internally balanced engines when you remove the weights.
