I have another engine that has this type of dampner and it was also removed from a truck.

My 86 truck engine has a big bolt on its end that makes turning it easy.

I cannot see how this dampner/flywheel is held onto crank. How can I turn it easily? ( with a wrench ) I am imagining there is something behind this outer pulley I am just not seeing ?

EDIT: I said flywheel, I know its not a flywheel.

That pulley is bolted to the actual dampner from the looks of it. Remove the three bolts
and I bet you'll see the dampner and bolt holding it on.

The balancer is a press fit. There is no bolt in the end of the crank. Clean out the hole and you will find that the crank is threaded. Even though it is not necessary I put a bolt in. Mopar has two lengths use the short one,If you want.

Great, good news, I have spare bolts. Thanks

Thanks, got it. Im going to start collecting a few small block bolts just to have on hand
