Fold down back seat ??

Can I convert our '75 duster rear end so it would fold down...what do I ned to make this happen..

Yes.... but it involves more than just swapping the back seat. The package tray frame is different, there is different bracing on the wheel tubs and the brackets for the hinges and latches are welded to the wheel tubs so it's not a bolt on swap but if you had access to a parts car it would be do able but it wont be easy.

Ouch....I thought it would be easy...

Find a parts car in this neck of the woods ???? ...a bunch a years ago, they gave junkyards the incentive to crush any old cars they had for good bucks..guess what happened to all the dusters..It was a common car down here.I wonder if there are more than 20 in Nova Scotia.

just find another duster with one and take everything out that you need

If you need extra room for hauling long stuff like fishing poles, skis, etc... you could unbolt the seatback and slide in and out as needed. Not as neat but will be almost as good.
