That's one of the radio station's I grew up with. KXOK mostly, because in the early 60's, very few cars had FM radios. If there was an FM radio around, it was KSHE!!
I grew up outside St. Louis. KSHE radio was the rock of choice !

I the early the early 60's KSHE was a pretty new station, and as I said, not a lot of FM radios around. This guy was the king of rock in St. Louis when I was a kid.

FM? In the Mighty Mojave Desert? Surely you jest . Our "go to" until we got through Cajon Pass. The only FM we had, we had to get from the TV cable connection  KLOS, KMET (Dr Demento on Sunday afternoons), Kearth101.

This is not a song but a 17 min. experience. It’s Friday fellow hippies. Chill out, relax roll one up & enjoy.lol
