FOR SALE IS A VINTAGE TACHOMETER GAUGE, NOT SURE THE YEAR OR BRAND BUT IT IS MADE IN THE USA. ALL METAL, THE HOUSING IS CHROME, CHEOME HAS SOME TINY SPECKLES BUT NO HEAVY PITTING. THE RING AROUND THE GAUGE FACE SEEMS TO BE MADE OF A LIGHTER METAL, THE RING IS NOT DENTED. THE PLASTIC GAIGE FACE IS NOT CRACKED, BUT IT IS FADED OR DISCOLORED BY THE SUN, IT MIGHT COME OUT WITH SOME LIGHT SANDPAPER AND POLISH BUT NOT SURE. THE GAUGE FACE IS BRIGHT, NICE COLORS AND READS UP TO 8K. THE NEEDLE MOVES NICE TOO, THE NEEDLE ADJUSTER WORKS GOOD TOO. THERE ARE 3 WIRES ON THE BACK, ALSO COMES WITH THE CORRECT MOUNTING BASE, NO STRIPPED SCREWS EITHER. THIS IS UN-TESTED, CAME OUT OF A BIG OLD DODGE RV. IT IS IN CLEAN SHAPE AND EVERYTHING MOVES NICE, THE WORST PART IS THE GAUGE FACE/LENS, MAYBE YOU CAN GET A DIFFERENT ONE, MIGHT EVEN MAKE ONE IF NEEDED. GAUGE FACE MEASURES 3 1/4" ACROSS. $45 SHIPPED TO YOUR USA DOOR. SOLD AS IS, I AM IN CENTRAL MN, THANKS FABO :glasses7:

Thanks for the info, it is a curved plastic piece

I use Brasso to clean watch crystals both plastic and glass.

it is worth a shot, although looking at this it may be too far gone.
