I have a new set still in the box of ForgedTrue Pistons for a 340.

I believe the number on the box is 1633. They are domed, 1.800 C-H, for a 4.060 bore. They weigh in @ 524 grams.

Anybody have an old catalog on what the compression would be with these on stock 340X heads?

Is 524 grams heavy for a piston?

I looked on the internet for any information but, couldn't find any. I believe they have been out of business for a while. I got these back in the early 80's.

Thank You!

I think they were made by Bill Miller try calling him. I have a set of them that have the full dome I think they were 12-1 with 68cc head. If that is the full dome that is pretty light for a dome piston with that bore and pin height.

Do you currently run them?

Yeah thats pretty light for a 340 piston. A Mahle 340 piston is 500 for a 4.070" bore. They are about the lightest around. A stock 340 piston is around 700g!!!!!
