I have to pull my trans to fix some leaks and am thinking about a forward manual valve body, 727 behind a mildly modified 340 in a 1970 Dart. What would be a quality brand that won't break the bank, low band apply a must. Thanks for any help. Jeff.

I have had 2 from A&A Transmissions and they worked flawlessly.
One in my Slant Six and my 65 Hemi Belvedere. Yes Low band applied for the street use.

Don't underestimate the TurboAction valve bodies. That would be my 1st choice if my trans didn't come with a Griner.

Get the Transgo TF3. That converts a stock valve body to full manual and retains the low band apply. Round a hundred bucks give or take.

I had the Transgo -3 in my Turbo 350 & it worked very well. I then bought a dedicated Art Carr man VB.
The Art Carr definitely shifts quicker, probably many ccts are bypassed for quicker response.
