found paper work 1966 charger

i just found the paper work on my dad buying a new 66 charger. AND the window sheet. sales code.

i remember the car well. a real chick magnet. wish i still had it.
 
What color was it? One of my aunts had one when I was young. I loved that car! Hers had a 383 4bbl and was that silvery color that looked green in certain light.

Thanks for posting the information.
From the options, it appears to be for a 67 Charger because:

1. Console was standard equipment for the Charger in 66

2. 383 2 bbl. engine was not available as an option for the 66 Charger, but it was for 67. For a 66 Charger, you could choose a 361 2bbl. or 383 4bbl. or the hemi as optional engine choices.

3, Deep dish spinner wheel covers were standard equipment for the 66 Charger. In 67 the spinner cover was no longer available, but the same cover without the spinner was an extra cost option. The 67 had 9" hub caps (not covers) as standard equipment.

4. Woodgrain steering wheel was standard equipment for the 66 Charger, but was an extra cost option in 67.

I think my information is accurate, if not someone will chime in with corrections. The VIN number should be posted on the window sticker. If the 6th digit of the VIN is the number "6" then its a 66, if it's a "7" then it's a 67 model.

I have a 66 and 67 Charger...both are very cool cars.
 
my guess is non stereo phonic. yep pbiggs is right the window sheet i posted is a 1967. but my dad did buy a 1966 new. and i found that window sheet. you are right there are a few differences. i did post a 1967 sheet it was a charger my dad had later. one diff had to do with a paint strip along the roof line. i think one year it was FREE, painted by hand. the 67 was totaled by a drunk. it had 120,000 miles but would pass fro 20,000 mles. i thought the one i posted was 66 cause i didnt remember i had the 67 sheet. if get some extra time ill post the 66 sheet. here is the 67. VEHICLE IDENT NO. XP2-G72-104806 sorry about the mix up.
 
thanks to pbiggs for keeping me honest. OK I got the right one now. 1966 dodge charger. My dad bought from spencers dodge, wichita KS. We got it on March 1-66 I think it was the 2 – 3 charger in wichita. I think the 66 charger was realy a 66 ½, I think. The VEHICLE IDENT NO. is hard to read so I might get it wrong, but here it is.
