Hi all Im looking to decode fender tags again. I used to do this all the time and Im sure I did it in my sleep as well. I had a stroke a few years ago and lost a lot of memory.

I used to decode cars at shows, car lots and if someone sent the fender tag to me to decode I would do it then as well. I used to do this on a lot of differnt brands not just Mopars.

If you have a fender tag and you want it decoded please post here and pm me. Im doing this to build my memory up on the codes again and I just really liked doing it.

The years I can do right now are 1968-1974. I know when going through a lot of my books Im sure I will be able to decode the cars from 1967 and back.

Im not sure if I can do 68-69 A bodies as most of the info I have are for B and E body cars. I would think most of the codes would be the same and if you have a 68-69 A body car I will give it shot.

Thanks everyone and I look forward to learning not only the codes but more about your car as well and helping you to know more about your car.

One more note if sending fender tag info and your worried I do not need the last part of the vin number.

I will get back to you on it I just got a Coronet to decode as well.

Thanks man and I cant wait to dive in to the numbers. :read2:

Hey everyone just an up date. I have been getting a lot of fender tags from a lot of differnt boards.

I know Im missing some of the codes so I said well if Im going to do this right and re-learn everything the right way I need Galens books.

I put in an order for two of them today and I will be ordering two more later on.

I bought 66-68 and 69-71 production codes. I want to get the others I think 61-64, 72-75 and also the one on trucks.

I have an old 75 Dodge truck that I want to hot rod out but would like to know more about it. I know its a 3 on the tree with a slant six.

I did a ton of research on my 67 Barracuda, including getting info from Chrysler, plus I bought a data book. If you, or anyone else, needs any assistance on 67/68s let me know.
I also saved pics of a bunch of fender tags, some I decoded, some I did not, all are 67s and 68s, which are similar, and maybe a few 69s which are different from the 67/68.

I have my IBM buildcard, and my fender tag, but no buildsheet.
I have a nice clean copy of another buildsheet and I would like to recreate mine.

Would you, or anyone else, be able to help me with that?

I only need to figure out the last 2 rows, titled Build Codes.

I have no clue in build sheets as far as doing one. I have had a build sheet to my Challenger R/T and could tell what was what on the car and sheet.

There is a book for decoding broad casting sheets.

I have my white books on the way and I will be using them to decode the cars I have so far from everyone and I will aslo being going back over the ones I decoded already.

This has been of great help to do this as Im getting some of the codes back in my head.

Thanks everyone keep it coming.
