Frigging Medicare......

Doc gave me a prescription for a "Tens" machine......that little device that gives you electric stimulation. Picked it up a couple of weeks ago from the therapy place that Ernie is going to. Got a call from them today......going to need to either pay for it out of my pocket or send it back, Medicare does not pay for the thing for lower back issues. And needless to say that it has reduced the pain a very noticeable amount.......Go figure.....Luckily the things are not that much $$, quick Google search found them for $50 and up so.....The company that owns mine wants $170 for it so it will be going back.....

I have one and it helps. Order some extra pads when you get one because the shipping will end up costing more than the pads later.
 
I go on medicare as of may 1. I am not looking foward to it. With Obama care the future looks bleak. I saw my heart doctor last week and over heard the nurse tell another guy that medicare will only pay for one procedure a day. So if you see the doctor you have to go back the next day for any test but only one. Stupid government!

Mine did not help me , but it is what it is, I have severe damage. It may help me now, 4 years later, but after the wreck, it didn't do diddly.
