front discs on the rear

hey has anyone ever done a front end disc brake swap and then put their factory disc brakes(if they have em) on the rear? im thinking about fabbing up some mounts and doing this to keep costs down but still have all around discs.
 
The only parts from the front brakes that you could really use, are the calipers, the rotors are a totally different type than you would need on the rear as well as hoses and stuff. I have no idea what type of bracket you would have to make to use the factory calipers on the rear, or of it would even be a wise move due to piston size/volume. They also may be pretty bulky. There are cheap rear disc kits avail on eBay, in the $300 range, and there have been several threads a it them recently. That's where I'd look, the money buying and adapting parts to work would reach that price quickly
