Front plate bracket

Anyone know if on a 74 dart se is there a bracket for the front plate on the bumper? If so anyone have one? I just put a plate on it and it seems really low.

I didn't think there ever was a bracket, just holes in the bumper....that was until I bought a used bumper off craigslist and it has one. It's just a little black piece of metal that bolts to the bumper and has holes at the top to move the plate up about 2-3 inches. I used to have a front plate on my 75 that didn't have a bracket and it would get bent on parking stops

Yea, it's a big ugly hunk of steel that makes the plate stick way out from the bumper.
I couldn't stand it so I drilled the plate in the middle and painted the bolts.
Now it's up where it belongs hieght wise, and tucked against the bumper.

Just a thought for you.
