Front speaker size?

The front speaker is long gone in my Scamp but after spending some time under the dash today I want to put a front speaker in the car again. What size was the speaker that fit under the top part of the dash?

I've got the original rear speaker that I'll measure (I'm assuming 6x9) but may as well get a new rear speaker when I buy the front one.

The old single-cone speakers I have found under A-body dashes are 4"x10".
And yes, I make brackets to accommodate two 3-1/2" speakers in place of the one. It lets you run the left and right front channels to add a little more stereo sound. Granted, they aren't separated by a lot of space, but it sure beats hacking up original door panels or kick panels.

I still have some on-hand if anyone else is interested...
