i have 71 dart swringer.car has 73 up disk on the front.i have cop wheels and need to know the widest tire that i can run.
hoping you folks with your endless knowledge can help me out.would like to know any combos that yall have used (with cop wheels)

Mine has 205/60's. There's a little room to grow in there though, but no rubbing anywhere with this size.

I have 225/60/15's on my Duster with a set of cop rims. No rubbing or problems. I also have 73+ disks. Should fit a Dart just fine as well.

I believe dart and duster have some differing allowances...my 74 is running 205/60/15 steelies. No rubbing. Pics on link.

If anything, the Dart fenders can take a larger tire. The wheel opening on the Duster fender is a bit smaller, especially at the bottom rear corner. On a cop car rim the 225/60/15 is pretty close to interfering with the bottom corner of the fender, as you can see on my car below.

As far as "fatter", you might be able to pull off a 235/60/15, but it would be tight.
