I had a turquoise Valiant just like yours that I took this out of 20 years ago. It worked perfectly then and has been stored in a dry box since then. I'll put it on a battery just to make sure and let you know back. My car was only 70,000 miles. The buyer was supposed to come back for the radio but he did all right, driving it away for $350. It was my daily driver and a nice car with mint interior. I'll shut up now and get back to you.
