I'm going to be installing a new fuel gauge and needed a new fuel cell with a sending unit so I purchased one just like the one I am using now but with a sending unit.
My question is, someone, here, posted a remark a couple days ago about modern fuels eating up the foam,.
Is this a problem?
The cell I have now has foam and I have not had any problems.
If it is a problem it would be easy now to remove the foam before I install it.
Opinions, experiences?
