I've developed a small fuel leak at the brass coupling attached to the front of the carb that the fuel line threads into. The leak is where the brass coupling meets the carb, not where the fuel line screws into the brass coupling. If I unscrew the fuel line from the brass coupling, can I simply tighten the brass coupling so it is tighter against the carb, or is there something on the inside of the carb that holds the coupling tight? Hoping the carb doesn't need to come apart to fix this. Just wanting to know what I'm getting into ahead of time. Thanks in advance!

you can unscrew the fuel line from the fitting and then tighten the fitting up. If it still leaks, there's a tiny seal that goes between it and the carb body you'd have to replace.
