Anyone have tips on sealing up the fuel pump to the block? I have a fel-pro blue gasket. I just cleaned the old gasket off and they used paper and RTV.

Should I use RTV and the gasket as well?

I have permatex gasket sealer, the drown liquid stuff. Can I use that?

For the bolts I have permatex thread sealant.

Any other suggestions?

I usually glue the gasket to the pump with gasket adhesive then bolt it up with no rtv. Make sure both surfaces are clean. Everyone has their own methods.

I use spray copper coat a couple coats on both sides of the gasket and never have leaks, it also comes apart easy.
