fuel return line

im running a comp 140 pump with a comp 140 filter in between the tank and pump. the canister filter has two in and two out ports. does anyone see a problem if i run the regulator return line back to the filters second inlet since its before the pump. I had to adda 1/2 inch pickup on my tank and would like to run a half inch return. thanks for all replys

sounds ok to me but a 1/2" return line seems a tad too big.

The fuel does get a bit hotter if it recirculates like that, compared to returning to the tank. I just drilled my Dart's tank and slapped a bulkhead fitting in it.
