FABO Family,

I am sending out an SOS to all of you....any advice on this one? My relatively new sending unit (3 years old) has started to leak out of the rubber nipple that the gas gauge contact wire plug onto. I've never seen this happen before...any advice on this or do I have to replace the entire sending unit yet again?

If I do have to replace the whole thing, would somebody be able to point me towards a 3/8" unit for a 70 Duster that is a factory California car (so it has provisions for EEC or whatever they call the emissions deal)

Sealed from the inside with epoxy should do it, but if you don't like or trust epoxy you can use that gas tank repair putty.
I have used epoxy to seal expansion plugs in the bottoms of carbs that leak and it has always worked fine so I know it holds up.
