Fuel tank options for a daily driver.

I put a 22gal mustang tank in, I widened the frame rail about 1” so it sits on a wider rail. But there isn’t a lot of room for your exhaust if you do a mini tub

I cut the bottom out , framed it , to fit 24 gallon ATL cell at a swap meet , new foam and aluminum can.
its a bit narrower to allow bigger exhaust

I've got a 25 gallon aluminum gas tank laying around that I had made to go in my 70 Duster. I was also going to do a flat trunk floor, and the tank was made to use the stock drivers side fill tube to connect to the tank with a 2" rubber gas hose. It has baffles in it, and a recess on top for an electric pump and a gas gauge sending unit. It is a tad bit overkilled as far as wall thickness goes, therefore heavy as hell. Not trying to sell it to you, but PM me if you want dimensions, or?

I bought a 65/66 mustang tank from Bostonian that was in his amazing Demon. Cut the floor, added 2 pieces of metal to the front ( closest to rear seat ) and rear (closest to tailpanel) to cover the circle of the spare tire well.
