My car was missing that fancy tube and cannister assembly that lived in the trunk for the vent system on the 71's. The vent on the top of the tank was just plugged off. So Obviously on a hot day it built pressure. I solved this by dis-assembleing my fuel cap to make a tiny vent hole. It works but I'm sure theres a better way. Going to put my new fuel tank in soon so I want to find out what everyone else has done
